The Dunaway Group provides training classes for the CMM^® for Software and CMMI^® to provide organizations better understanding of the models and how they may be implemented to improve development capability for both software and systems. Courses licensed by the Software Engineering Institute are taught by instructors who have been fully qualified by the SEI. Appraisal services (CBA IPI and SCAMPI^sm) are provided for both models as well as informal mini-assessments.

Success stories from software development organizations that have implemented the Capability Maturity Model^® for Software have provided encouraging data for those who need to improve quality and timeliness of software products. Software process improvement has been shown to have a direct link with software quality. The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI^®) addresses both software and systems.
